Account & Data Deletion Policy – IITIX

1) Enforcement & Content Removal

IITIX may remove part or all user content or activity on iitix.com and the IITIX app without prior notice if it violates our terms. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is offensive, hateful, defamatory, promotes discrimination, pornography, gambling, spam, fraud, violates applicable laws of the Republic of Indonesia, or otherwise breaches our service rules.
Attempts to manipulate our services or policies may result in feature restrictions, account suspension, and/or legal action.

2) How to Request Account Deletion (Email or Dashboard)

A.  In-app (Primary Method)

  1. Sign in → My Account → Delete Account.
  2. Read the delete-account information carefully.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to delete your account.
    When you press Delete Account in the dashboard, a short confirmation dialog (a pop-up)
    appears so you don’t delete by accident. After you confirm, the system ends all active sessions (phone, web, any device) so your account can’t be accessed anymore.

B. Email (Optional)

Email privacy@iitix.com with the following:

  • Subject: Account Deletion Request – IITIX

  • Required in the email body:

    1. Full name

    2. Registered email on IITIX

    3. User ID/Username (if any)

    4. Phone number (optional, for verification)

    5. Statement: “I request the closure of my account and deletion of all associated data.”

    6. Reason (optional)

We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing.

3) What We Delete

  • Account data: basic identity, contact information, credentials

  • Content and activity associated with the account (e.g., posts/uploads/interactions)

  • Session tokens and linked devices

4) What We May Temporarily Retain

To meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, conduct audits, and prevent fraud, we may retain:

  • Transaction/payment records and legal documents for up to 5 years

  • System backups for up to 30 days (auto-purged)

  • Security logs for up to 90 days
    Data is permanently deleted once no longer required or when the retention period ends.

5) Processing Time

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 calendar days after successful identity verification. You will receive confirmation by email.

6) Effects of Deletion

After your account is closed, access to the service stops and deleted data cannot be restored.
If you have an active subscription via Google Play/App Store, please cancel it in your store account (Payments & subscriptions). Account deletion does not automatically cancel billing.
